When promoting the open day, in addition to the traditional target market for onsite data destruction – data centres, legal services and public sector organisations – CSI LCS also received enquiries from SMEs. CSI LCS’s managing director, Barry Naylor, commented “while our DDRV is a great solution for organisations that need to securely decommission large volumes devices that contain data, SMEs also need to take steps to keep customer and personal information safe when old equipment is decommissioned. We would also like to assist these types of companies with the same high level of service.”
Therefore, in response to requests from companies who were concerned that they did not have the volume of drives needed to make a dedicated visit by the DDRV viable, CSI LCS is also now offering a drop-in service where customers can bring smaller numbers of items to be destroyed on our site to make sure that local SMEs can benefit from the peace of mind and security that our data destruction service provides.
